RODO znacznie rozszerza zakres unijnego prawa o ochronie danych. Ka\u017cda organizacja przetwarzaj\u0105ca dane osobowe os\u00f3b fizycznych z UE podlega przepisom tego prawa, niezale\u017cnie od tego, czy jest fizycznie obecna w UE. Co wa\u017cne, w uj\u0119ciu RODO poj\u0119cie \u201edane osobowe\u201d jest bardzo szerokie i obejmuje wszelkie informacje dotycz\u0105ce osoby fizycznej o ustalonej lub mo\u017cliwej do ustalenia to\u017csamo\u015bci (zwanej r\u00f3wnie\u017c \u201eosob\u0105, kt\u00f3rej dane dotycz\u0105\u201d), takie jak imiona i nazwiska, adresy e-mail i inne informacje okre\u015blaj\u0105ce to\u017csamo\u015b\u0107. Definicja ta obejmuje r\u00f3wnie\u017c informacje techniczne, takie jak adresy IP lub identyfikatory urz\u0105dze\u0144. \u201ePrzetwarzanie\u201d w rozumieniu RODO oznacza zbieranie, przechowywanie, przekazywanie lub wykorzystywanie.<\/p>\n
